May call those hobby shop then Please ask them.

About your ESC, what is your ESC model please?

By the way which class you are planning to run?

taka

Hi thanks for your help,

My esc is the flux vapor, it's an hpi badged castle sidewinder sv2

My motor is the flux vektor, sensorless 5900kv

If those will be allowed in the 4wd open class then I'll probably run

Thanks again !

My friend,
Your ESC has no problem to use in this class. But Motor is too much power if compare to ordinary 17.5T brushless motors.
Usual KV for 17.5T motor is 2200 to 2800KV actually.

Can you please prepare some other motor 17.5T or tamiya 18T please?

I guess your ESC can use even the motor is a sensored type.
"tamiya 18T and open 17.5T 4WD open class is kind of a competitive class in this race event. I must be strict for this class car regulation. Im sorry to tell you this.

So, you options are any 17.5T brushless motor or tamiya 18T brushless motor to join this class. If you really can't find it, final option is I rend you mine tamiya 18T.

I am very welcome to new racers so why not i help you if you want to join our race event.

Haha WOW!, you would be willing to lend me your motor ? I'll see what I can do about it. Do you know how many turns, the stock silvercans have ? cause i have 4, two from ta-01, one from wild willy and one from an m-02.

If I do borrow your tamiya 18t, I'll go there early so I can mount it, and then give it back to you as soon as my leg is done. Thanks.

Will you be strict about tamiya bodies and tires, because if i can, I'd rather not spend, and run my HPI stuff ?

p.s is there any event where I can run my dad's 12t kyosho, 16t trinity and kyosho 16t because those motors are older than me, and itching to race.

Hi, if I can still borrow your motor, then sign me up for 4WD class ,

just a clarification, can I use HPI magwheels, cause my set-up is staggered, 24mm tamiya tires, on tamiya mags in front, and 26mm tamiya tires, on HPI magwheels in the back. Will my tires set-up be allowed , or is it strictly Tamiya for everything except the insert.

See you there (hopefully)
