Default F15 project

Hi Jetta,

Here are some pics of My F15 assembly. Sana matapos before New year.
As you see I placed a heat protection cover on the top hatch, and also I will place inside on the rear section to cover the heat from the Pipes.
Im using a P120SE for this one. I installed the landing gear too, The Fuse wasnt perfectly molded so i still have to cut off some excess lip from the gear opening. Tinatamaan ng wheel during retraction.

Can you post the Pictures of the Hawk set-up here? Thanks.

Default Baradas Fly-in Update

Post of Obi Mapua at our Yahoo Group

Hello our aeromodeling friends!

Saturday, 08 December, 2007, is the BARCA (Baradas) Christmas Party. You are all invited to take part in the festivities. The field is there for takeoffs, and the sky is there for flying!!

To liven up the day’s events, we will have a SCALE CONTEST that is STATIC (no flying). There will be 3 categories: Aerobatic, Civil, and Military. Trophies will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place in each category. Then the winners will have a flight option, and the best flight in each category will be awarded. (Judging will be by people’s choice)

Of course, we can fly too! The field has been prepared and the runway is beautifully mowed. You have to see it to believe it. It is putting-green smooth. And nice and long.

We have two (2) LECHONS for lunch and other goodies. We will share all our food with our guests. Please bring your own drinks.

All this for a joining fee of only P 150.00 per participant! And to top that, all participants will be INSURED for the day!

See you at Baradas on 08 Dec. 2007! It’s a whole day affair, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Registration is at the field. The early birds get the most flights!!

Yes there will be frequency control.

Obi Mapua

PS. Please pass this on to other aeromodelling friends. The more the

Thank you to our raffle sponsors, Kenso San for the Shuttle and Trophies, Mang Ed for the Cessna, Mar for the Reflection, Good Samaritan for the fuel, forgot the accessories but thank you just the same. Nelson for his catering, sarap seafood kare-kare, caldereta, fish fillet etc. Ihaw-ihaw sponsors, boobsie, egay and ram for the liempo, bangus and tahong. Arsemar for the beer that never stopped flowing. Mang Ed and company for the generator and sound system, galing! Black lights and girls wearing white na lang ang kulang. Wild for his imported chips from Navotas. Jinx for hosting, Tony for being himself, Mang Bert aka "James" for attending, busy kasi yan sa shooting. Shooting the rapids...

Congrats nga pala to the winners of the fun fly events, Tom for most number of loops, Russel for balloon bursting, Johnny for combat and Wildflyer for most number of rolls. Arsemar and Brading for the most number of beers. Special mention boobsie for most number of "pieces"...ahihi! papa talaga!
