THE MOMENT OF TRUTH HAS COME!!!
See you all this evening. The cars are fast, the drivers' stand will be waiting for you to rise to the challenge, while your teammates may literally be in the pits!
11x F1 cars will be racing against the clock for 3 HOURS! ARE YOU READY???!!!
Briefly, this will be the race schedule:
5:30pm - Racers arrive at Titiwangsa for probably their last few moments of racing at this beloved track. Race preparation & final car testing begins.
6:30pm - Tech inspection at the race control room. If you have 2 cars (1 as a backup), bring it in too.
7:00pm - All cars will be impounded after tech inspection and will only be released just prior to the parade/warm-up laps. You will be allowed to load batteries only at the pit lane.
7:05pm - Lots will be drawn for starting grid positions and driver stand positions. You either have a choice for starting grid selection or driver stand, but not both, so choose wisely.
7:15pm - Dinner time/waktu sembahyang.
7:45pm - Collect your cars, load your batteries.
7:55pm - Parade & warm-up laps.
8:00pm - We're set to RACE!!!
11:00pm - Race ends
11:15pm - Prize ceremonies
11:30pm - Teh tarik session!
Rules & Regulations:
1. Each Team must have 3 drivers (No more, no less). Driver change every 30 minutes. Each driver must drive for 2x 30-minute sessions, or the team will be disqualified.
2a. Chassis: Any F1 chassis with non-independent rear suspension, except for Tamiya F103.
2b. Approved examples include Serpent F110, Yokomo YRF-001, Tamiya F104, TRF 101, TRG, Speed Passion.
2c. Chassis with quick-change battery mechanisms or doesn't require the removal of the bodyshell for a battery change are not allowed.
2d. Each team is allowed to bring 2x full-rolling chassis, in case one gets broken during the run. The only conditions are that the same physical PT must be run (no cloned PTs) and both chassis & electronics have to be tech-inspected. If a PT change is made, the bodyshells must be removed for both cars.
3. Bodyshell: F1 bodyshells
4. Gear ratio: Open
5. ESC: Any ESC with blinky mode
6. Motor: 17.5T brushless, any brand, no limit on timing adjustment.
7. Tires: Open to any F1 rubber tires. Unlimited quantity/sets.
8. Batteries: LiPo 2S, 7.4V nominal rating.
9. All cars will be checked and impounded before race (7:00pm).
10. Team starting positions will be decided via random allotment (Maximum 11 teams).
Additional notes:
Racers will have a 1 minute window to do a driver switch at 8:30pm, 9:00pm, 9:30pm, 10:00pm & 10:30pm intervals. Each driver must drive in the pre-allotted slot determined during tech inspection.
All pitstops must not be done on the BLUE pitlane. They should be done on the YELLOW pit shoulder or at your own pit table.
