Even some prominent racers are at the bottom rung...people like Fantini, Swauger, Tanaka and etc. Gonna be one helluva race!

I hope somebody who reads the results will look further into it then just commenting who's fast and who's not.
Precisely. Either they flipped their car during their heats, flamed out or came in twice in the pits for fuel.
This is a World Champs, those drivers don't have to refill twice man. And this fella can drive for 40 mins without any flip. 1 hour final, max out only 3 flips.
Looks at the rules:
One:
restricts the number of engines to be used to 3 when the offical heats start. Each driver is allowed 4 rebuilds in total. The engines will be marked and sealed somehow. So during practise the drivers need to select their 3 best engines.
How many engine was that ? This is a different league.....

Nobody is perfect. You can be perfect but if somebody bumps you in the rear or from the side, you end up in the grass, into the boards or flip the car ! Simple.

Man,
Confirm one time only. I am trying to explain, what you see in local races doesn't goes for the World races.
http://www.messinaworlds.com/risultati/06-09/h15-r2.pdf
Looks at lap 20,21,22 - The breakdown time sheet after the full results which is more important. You can do a post mortem there and you will have an idea how fast they are but consistent too and how many times they refuel ?
The refuel sector times on lap 20,21 and 22. It's like a copy cat from the rest of the drivers too which means that is their refuel time. Only once.
And look at the fast laps and average lap time on the total of 41 laps, not much of a big discrepancies....that's the difference between all of us and them. Almost all the laps about 0.5 seconds apart, local different, some can have one lap 13.6 next lap 15.5 and the next 17.5 - crash
Talking about perfect, this guys are like robot. Inch perfect and almost error free. They are fast and consistent.
The new rules, wah this is the hardest part.
Look at the amount of engine they have. Almost one engine for one heat, and only rebuild allow for sub final. Rebuild means, all the liner, conrod, crank or whatever they think is necessary they change it to brand new. So if you qualify higher always have advantage which means you have more engine to select for the final.
The new rule sort of ( my point ) to wipe out any factory drivers advantage because in the past, they can use have at least 7 -8 engines standby for their assault for the race. It's totally unfair to semi factory drivers who have the least engine to fiddle with.
The engine max out performance, 105%, so local kaki cannot get 5 mins ? They confirm can get more than 5 mins, 6.30 also not surprise. ( Also their gearing and tires for rollout plays a part ) New tires for every heat.....
This is a different league from ours, who has more money got better results lah, of course you must be able to drive too. Aiyah, setup, blah blah all in, just the complete package which the fast boys must have.

Again, I don't understand what you're trying to get at. We know about the new rules but what has it got to do with mileage?

TowLanTong becoz all a sudden become CEO of SnakeTemple...
This WC will be crucial for snakey or else, it will be a mountain to climb.
Used to be dominance becos of the centax clutches and once that been overwhelm by the Japs, they lost the dominance and start coming out with funny design like VETEQ and blah blah, the VETEQ cos the down fall of the snake camp.
L.Collarri brought more World Title and the topic which doesn't allows him to use his own engine and must use Mega split them up. From there, Mugen takes over the dominance with MRX with Osaka and Bertin crowning the WC and when Kyosho comes up with Fanthom, it looks like only 2 horse race with Mugen and Kyosho.
Looks like the snake can never recover and this WC is important to them. Without a title, the 960 can tapao
