Default AFOS RACE

RC Pitstop might be organising a race at the Sepang F1 track on the 14th and 15th May. This is in conjunction with the Asian Festival of Speed. I understand that these dates are already taken up for MNC electric rd2. Would you like to join in as 1 event? I was thinking of organizing a 2 day Gas and Electric car event or maybe just a 1 day 1/10th gas car event.

The track will be at the Pit area car park behind the garages or one of the tar car parks near the ticket booths. Should be great for RC.Will update you all later on this race.

Jets,
You should be getting in touch with Bigguy, he is the Chairman of the MNC organizing committee with your offers for consideration.

Thanks.

I thought once you already booked a date here, somebody else should look for another date. That is the gentleman agreement here.

If RCPitStop start organising race like this, its just hijacking somebody dates. Is it fair ? I think its unethical. Pls lah .. show some unity. I think with or without agreement from party concern, RCPitStop will still want to organise this race. Ashame on you if you still want to proceed.

Guys, I think Jets meant well and a win win situation was on his mind. AFOS has a budget and thus the race could be made more happening that is all. If the EP racers feel that this is unetchical and does not conform to the Gentleman agreement then so be it. Maybe in such situation RC Pitstop should only organise the GP event.

Cheers guys just my thoughts on this.

The opinion is personally from me and I'm not representing the EP guys. I'm a less active EP racer . I am more on nitro & buggy 1/8.

Hey, hey, never wanted to offend anyone.

AFOS approached me to organize a race for them because they want to have more activities to attract the crowd. This years AFOS is interesting with leading European and Japanese teams participating in the touring class. All said and done, this RC race is yet to be confirmed. I have to get the budget approved by them before anything. There are so many races this year and the calender is so packed.

Would be great if we could combine the MNC round together but if not then it will be a 1/10 gas touring event.

Guys

The MARCC commitee feel that this matter should be discussed privately outside the forum. We do hope no more such postings discussing this in order to avoid conflicts and feuds. We will be contacting RCPitStop on the matter.

We want a win win situation for the local RC scene.
