Just finish FEMCA race in Thailand.
Here's what I think of the TEAM C buggy.
I have broken only 2 screw to the shock holder and that's about it. 10 days of racing in the World's toughest track put the Team C buggy in the World map.
The car is super reliable, response to setup, tough and easy to drive.
I didn't go further not due to the car but other mechanical failure such as......my plug got loosen while I am in 2nd place ( 1/8th Finals ), looking very good to bump up to 1/4 finals...........and a loose flywheel due to the collet in earlier qualifying. That's about it.
Great car..........I am looking to drive harder with the car next time......
Thumbs up.

FEMCA 2012 - Pattaya
Weather is super hot. Track is great but gruelling on both man and machine. Technical with hi-speed sweeper. Traction is....unlike off-road...car is glued to the track. Sticker stuffs like gula-melaka was used. Tires gets chewed up in 20minutes or less!
10 days of constant hammering on the TeamC T8. The T8 held up. Responded to every set-up change I did. Track was bites into anything that was running on it. The T8 was like a tank running like a F1.
TeamC provided superb track side support and also parts support! the only brand that did so at FEMCA as a token of appreciation to all their users. THANK YOU TEAMC!

Hi everyone,
Many people had been asking me about the Team C 1/8th Buggy. Therefore instead of going it over with those interested one by one.....let me post it over here. No hold back but honest.......opinion about this car.
I drove the the car....in MNL 3 .......pretty unintentionally to be exact. Chee Yong sent the car over to me.....during the night at 10 pm and I practically have to redo and rechk cause it is a MNL event.
Finish 4 am......sleep 2 hours and hit the track the next day. I didn't think much.......I hit the track and my god it was fantastic. The car is so easy to drive........I didn't have time to set it up much the night before......and bump up into the semis. But koyak in the semis......that's how I got to Team C buggy.
In FEMCA, Pattaya Thailand. We are racing in the world most difficult track.........10 days to be exact....from practice to race......I broke only one part....which is the front shock tower screw.....I hit the fence.....and.....only ONE screw broke.......
That justify the Team C buggy. I called it a TANK......indestructible.....
The Car
>> Good quality plastics......soft but not overly hard. That explain it's durability.......
>> The screws >> You will need to change some screws especially the steering area...........as my opinion the screws isn't that good. But less than RM$ 10......will settle this problem. But with constant upgrade probably this issue with screws already been solved.
>> Options which I think is a must >> 1. Option engine mount, 2. Shock holder - Titanium type 3. The servo horn for steering and throttle 4. Front and rear torque rod.
Built
Instruction is good, simple and straight forward.
Pay attention when putting the 6 X 13 X 5 mm bearing into the bulkhead for center drive shaft.....I put a little glue to a screw drivers.....go round the lip which the bearing sits.....and slot the bearing in. Putting glue to this area.....holds the bearings better as the chassis is 3 mm causes too much flex and the bulkhead would prematurely fail......therefore the glue solution puts back life to the bulkhead......that's about it......the rest are ok......
Performance
Car is so easy to drive.......performance is very good.....stability and traction too........very good for drivers coming into the MNL in 2013.
I ran harder than usual....Diff 15 000 F 10 000 C and 5000 R ....shock are 550 Front and 600 Rear. All are MAX Racing oils........
But the stock 5/5/3 is good too......run stock setup and get a feel before changing anything........
Support
Never better with Ong Chee Yong on trackside. He takes care of everything.....from parts, setup to driving..........I virtually got everything I need from him during race day........and he is a good lad to approach........
So those guys who asked me how good is this buggy ? It have everything you need from intermediate to expert category drivers.........Ong Chee Yong finish 9th in the Expert class and Jarvin Tham took Intermediate champion......that's the track record.......
I now drive a Kyosho now for various reasons......and Team C gives me a memorable drive though it is a short one.........especially the team....like Yap, Wai koh, Conrod, Jarvin, Alan, Rickey and many more......you are super funny and supportive.
Not forgetting Team Boss > Ong Chee Yong > Thank you for everything boss.........

Another year of racing the Team C T8 and it sure is:
1. a GOOD car - responsive to settings, easy to drive, durable(tahan lasak),.....
2. has GOOD price - you won't find another car that is as cheap and reliable and also can perform at the same time.
3. has GOOD material - plastics that are used are of good quality in terms of durability and the option parts are also very lasting.
Used the car for MNL, FEMCA, Southern League, Sweep Challenge Korea,....
The car is of world standards and priced at a very tempting price too.
I used both Team C T8 Buggy & also T8 Truggy and it sure is good and lasting.
Thumbs up a good car that i don't regret driving.
