Team Durango R explained – prices for the DEX410R
Team Durango has made its name around top quality and innovative thinking. This no-compromise approach can make Team Durango cars a little too expensive for some, leaving cars like the DEX410 affordable for only the fortunate few. Team Durango ‘R’ kits will change this.
For Team Durango, ‘R’TD 'R' means Regular Racing specification. Our ‘R’ specification cars share the same Team Durango DNA, performance and innovation, but with a more ‘regular’ specification that is normal or even ‘team-spec’ for most other cars on the market.
Team Durango ‘R’ means performance and innovation, combined with affordability and an accessible, personal upgrade path. Our ‘R’ cars will be available for all Team Durango models as a step-in point for Team Durango ownership, but the no-compromise ‘Team Durango’ premium version will typically arrive first for hard-core Team Durango fans.The first Team Durango ‘R’ car will be the DEX410’R’ which is going through final testing. Available end of April, street prices for the DEX410R will be US$350, €230 and £210 (excluding local sales taxes/VAT)
Our philosophy is to develop the ‘Team Durango’ ultimate race car first, using handmade test cars and then, later, see where costs can shaved for the “R” version.
At Team Durango we test our theories with hand-made cars, like the DEX210 2wd being raced at the Yatabe Arena in Japan this weekend. Once the theories have been proven with prototypes, we refine the design, make it production ready, do more testing, and finally we launch the best car we can. Only later will it get the ‘R’ treatment.
Other companies design, sell, see what breaks, sell options; then sell a ‘team spec’ car – Team Durango won’t take this approach.
The first Team Durango ‘R’ car will be the DEX410’R’ which is also going through final testing.

The Dirt's Joey let us know that they were adding two Short Course classes for the Silver State Race next weekend. The classes are 2WD & 4WD, you must run tires made for SC trucks. $30.00 entry fee and you can sign up at the track on the day of the race, unlimited for both classes. In recommending the Jin Ji Du Li method, Zhong Li Ba Ren said that according to the understanding of Chinese physician, diseases appear because of coordination in the various internal organs encounter problems, the body loses its balance. Jin Ji Du Li can readjust the inter-relationship of these organs. He said that many people can't even do it for 5 seconds, but later on, are able to stand for more than 2 minutes. Following the lengthening of the standing time, the feeling of "head heavy, light feet' disappears. The quality of sleep improves, the mind clears up, the memory improves significantly. If you can practice Jin Ji Du Li with your eyes closed for 1 minutes daily, you will not get dementia.

He pointed out that there are 6 important meridians passing through our legs. Standing with a single leg, the weak meridian will feel sore while getting the required exercise. Team Durango sent out the following statement concerning an alleged copy of their 1/10th Buggy the DEX 410...
I would just like to bring to your attention that a Chinese company is testing the market interest in a DEX410 copy – we have no idea if this car has been made yet or if they are just using our car to test interest.
From what we can tell this is an exact copy, which of course breaks copy write laws in almost all markets worldwide; if these copies do arrive into markets where we are protected under copywriter law, we will take action against any company wishing to profit by reselling these copies.
As you know copies do appear from time to time, often targeting the most innovative designs; I hope we can count on your support in not assisting them in any way, in their unethical tactics.
As you know Durango has taken years to develop the DEX410 at considerable cost and the DEX410R will be arriving soon at a much more affordable price point. We know what it has taken to get this design to work and the high quality of materials required for such a car, it’s just not possible to cut corners.
