Sell your keropok and invest in a good radio lah. Else, invest in a few sets of crystals. No use keeping a limping horse. Might as well go full Mugen ! .

Perhaps you're not looking in the right places. Try to look for 41 MHz crystals. I hear that they work in 40 MHz modules.

Really? So you're wasting so much time with 1%? If that is true, then it's not worth it then. To the fires of Mount Doom it should go !

will check the 41mhz out. 1% coz I dont spend time cleaning it. The Mugen is ready to go but just need a bit more testing on the setup before I am fully confident of driving it fast. I change the settings every other track time to see which is suitable for my drivng style. It has more optional settings compared to NTC3 so it will take me a bit longer to understand the settings.

What settings to understand on the cow? If you get the snake, it'll even be worse !

so much to understand!, how the car will react to different shock oils, different shock mounting position, shores, camber, toe, roll center. Generally everyone knows how it works but how it works in a specific car is different so it is learning time for me unlike the NTC3 which I am so familiar with now.

Of course it will be worse with a snake since the Mugen is easy and not a b*tch of a car to set up.

If it was that easy to set up, why isn't spawn's cow handling perfect?

The 710 may have a lot of options to cater for different tracks but I can tell you this that the stock setting handles very well out of the box. I actually regretted tinkering around with the other setup options. Furthermore it was suicidal with very little practise time to play with.

The first time I touched the car on the Srinakarin track with stock setup without changing anything from playing on the Titiwangsa track, the car handled beautifully ! Just a little understeer which is expected as the track had high traction.

Ok now its that you messed too much with the set up and got the car all confused ... okay ...

Please la ... you know your Serpents have a nice reputation of not being as nice (relatively) out of the box as the Mugen. 710 is new and 1 whole year ahead of the Mugen, lets compare oranges with oranges and apples with apples. At least that will make sense.

Spawn ... why your car got problems? Hahahaaaaa ...

You'll hate Andalas...the sweeper now has got a hump...and it's getting higher. Try hardened shocks and you'll see your car skipping a beat.

Titi lah...

Aaaaaaah ... its true then, I heard about that from a guy who went over, he was not an old kaki so I thought he was saying something that I did not understand. Is the bump that bad? Which sweeper, first corner or second?

At this moment ya, but I have soften the rear end and make the brakes a little harder. Otherwise still stock. Car is just reacting a bit too fast. Maybe I should try using the expo for the steering.
