I have also converted a SG shaft engine into a TG10R.
I use Kawahara small diameter flywheel a Mugen centax clutch front stopper and some shims that all. Clutchbell and shoes are original.
Well, Last year a TG10R did take part in a race at Johor Jaya TCSS race.
It did quite well, A main 2nd or 3rd, cant remember.
Thats were over 10 snakes there too but unfontunately the best driver could only make it to B main.

The race in JB has been dominated by Kyosho V1RR.
No offence to anyone using TG10R ...... i believe more ppl should come out and participate in races. It will be healthy for the hobby.
It all comes down to the driver. BEtter driver ..... use a normal car also can win wat

fuss!

The reason there's none because 200 mm TC was just introduced last year in Ohio. Even then, they choose to call it world meet, not world cup. In that 200 mm TC GP IFMAR world meet, Mark Pavidis scored a win for AE with the NTC3.
The 235 mm 1/10 scale however was a World Cup event. Champions were again Serpent as they are very few players in the 235 mm market.
This year, it would be the IFMAR World Championships for the 1/8th scale in the same track in Cincy, Ohio. That's the F1 of RC cars. Everybody in the RC industry is looking forward to it.
Just for your info, the listings below are what has been achieved by Serpent with their cars in their 23 year history;
1979 - 1/8th European Champion, Bervoets - Neurenberg (D)

p/s : In race you need a lot of skill, a car that can finished the whole race, a good engine(not necessery the fastest but reliable), a good pit crew and a little bit of luck.
