Thumbs up

Hi

Thank you for raising your concern on the schedule. FYI, I list down the official schedule for everyone benefits.

26th August 2008 - Control Practise Two Rounds of 5 Min Each (Grouping base on Fastest Lap)
27th & 28th August 2008 - Six Rounds of 5 Minutes Each
29th & 30th August 2008 - Christmas Tree and Finals
30th August 2008 - Official Dinner and Prize Presentatio
31st August 2008 - Reserve Date (Rainy Day)

The actual racing starts on 27th and if everything is OK then we can finish racing by the 30th. If possible we will try to avoid racing on 31st August because the next day (1st September) is the 1st day of Muslim fasting month Ramadan. Muslim will assume the night of 31st August for their prayer congregations. Another point to acknowledge is Friday 29th August, where all event in Malaysia will cease to no action to respect Muslim Friday Prayer from 12.15 noon till 2.45 pm. Pls also bear in mind that rain is unpredictable in Malaysia. We also hope to draw a 100 pax 1/10 participants and 60 pax 1/8 participants. Conclusively, if everything goes according to schedule, racing will occupy only for 4 days.

The schedule has been drawn after much consideration is given to all the above reasons. At the same time we wish to provide amble time and ease of racing for racers who take part in the championship.

Thank you.

Rgds

Default Qualifying for Malaysian drivers

Hi Zul "Bigguy" Yazid,
was wondering how do we Malaysian drivers get to join this race?
Must be a member of certain club to qualify?
Qualifying base on MNC GP 2008 standing or there is another race for qualifying?
Thanks,

Regards,
CK Lee

Hi CK Lee

The Malaysian seats for the championship is allocated 6:4 ratio for each 1/10 and 1/8 scales - 6 for peninsular driver while 4 is allocated for Sabah and sarawak for each 1/10 and 1/8 scales.

The qualifier for peninsular drivers will be held during the MNC GP 4th round at Titiwangsa Track this coming June. Only those registered as financial members of RCMRC will be allocated seats for the championship. As for Sabah and Sarawak qualifier we are still sourcing for intrested parties to run the qualifier.

After 30th June 2008, if the allocated seats are not taken by drivers from FEMCA Block or other Blocks, the remaing seats will be distributed among FEMCA member countries. In another words, those who fail to qualify during the Malaysian qualifier can now seek seats for the championship.

Pls refer www.malaysia-femca.com

Thank u,
i just have few more question about 1/8 rules.
Is the race closing fuel? Able to use 25 to 30% nitro?

Then just heard about have only 4 seats available for 1/8 femcar members from sabah & sarawak to the femcar race on August.

May i know how many 1/8 femcar members in East Malaysia?
Who & where will organize qualify race if have to?

For the championship the fuel will be closed to one brand. Currently there are bidders for fuel sponsors and RCAC is in a process to select a sponsor. FYI for 1/8 the fuel will be 25 % while for 1/10 the fuel is 16 %.

Allocation for seats for Malaysian is based on 6:4 ratio. 6 for peninsular and 4 for sabah & sarawak for 1/8 scale and 1/10 scale respectively. However after 30th June 2008, if there are still available seats, the available seats will be distributed among FEMCA members country. And if these seats are not taken or still available then the seat will be given to those who are interested to take part in the championship. Max numb of seats for 1/10 is 100 pax and for 1/8 is 60 pax.

For RCMRC membership matters, pls contact Danny Teh and Kelvin Ngow.

My suggestion to Sabah and Sarawak members & friends, is for Sunny & Chris to join forces and do one qualifier for Sabah & Sarawak.

Rgds

Hi Racers

Pls be informed that MNC GP Rd 4 is scheduled on 15th June 2008 at Titiwangsa track. The event is also the Peninsular qualifier for 2008 FEMCA GP Championship. Pls be reminded that only financial members of RCMRC is eligible for the qualifier. However, you can still compete in the MNC if you are not RCMRC members . At the end of the event, top 6 RCMRC members will be allocated seats for 1/10 and 1/8 category respectively.

Therefore for those who are interested in the qualifier, pls register or re-new your RCMRC membership for year 2008 at least one week before the scheduled event. Registration or renewal of RCMRC on race day or after race day will see you disqualify from the qualifier.
RCAC, on behalf of RCMRC will be responsible to collect registration and renewal of RCMRC membership for the qualifier.

If you do not make the cut during qualifier, seats allocation will again be re-distributed among FEMCA member countries on available seats after 30th June 2008. Surely there are more seats for RCMRC members. If after re-distribution of seats, there are still available seats, the seats will be opened to interested RCMRC members or interested FEMCA country members.

Rgds
