SBS YEAR END 2WD ENDURANCE FUN RACE
Date: 22nd December 2018 (Saturday)
Race Fee: RM100 per team (Trophies for 1st - 3rd)
Rules & Regulations:
CAR:
Car type: 1/10 2wd buggies (RWD)
Battery: 2s Lipo
Motor: Open
Weight: No minimum limit
Reverse: Allowed (Please ensure no cars approaching from the back before reversing)
Others: No lights on the cars allowed. Reflective stickers permitted.
RACE:
A minimum of 8 teams and a maximum of 10 teams is required for the race
Each team must consist of 3 drivers
Change of driver required every 30 minutes for the first 3 hours and 1 driver only for the last hour as per the following
0min - 30min: Driver A
30min - 1hr: Driver B
1hr - 1hr30min: Driver C
1hr30min - 2hrs: Driver A
2hrs - 2hrs30min: Driver B
2hrs30min - 3hrs: Driver C
3hrs-4hrs: Any driver, change any time.
Teams will have a 3 minute window to change drivers once the race director makes the call to change drivers
Drivers are required to adhere to proper racing etiquette and good show of sportsmanship
There will be no marshalls. You will marshall for your own team.
Teams can change batteries & tires at will
If a car is damaged during the race, repairs are required to be carried out in the pits
The race goes on regardless of weather condition (Race director can pause/stop race if conditions becomes unbearable or poses a threat to race timing equipment)
SCHEDULE:
9.00am - Check in & Free Practice
10.00am - Transponder check
11.00am - Free practice ends, group photo & track will close for repairs
11.30am - Briefing
11.55am - Cars on track
12.00pm - Race Start
4.00pm - Race End
4.15pm - Trophy presentation (1st to 3rd only)
