SBS Major League Round 4 - FINAL ROUND!!!
Date: 2nd September 2018
Track location: SBS RC Track - Waze
Race Format
Qualifying:
3 rounds x 5 min, fastest round to be used to determine qualifying position.
Finals :
A Main x 3 - 2 rounds will be used to determine overall final position
B Main x 2 - 1 round will be used to determine overall final position
C Main onwards x 1
Race Fee: RM80 per category, RM60 per additional category.
Payments to be made by 26th August 2018. Additional RM20 to be imposed for late payments. (Payment options to be updated)
Race fee includes lunch & marshalls.
R&R for all classes:
No minimum weight
No motor turn/kv limit
2s lithium polymer battery
Open tires
There will be 4 rounds of SBS Major League 2018. 2 rounds with the lowest league scores will be combined to determine overall 2018 position. In the event of a tie, the 3rd lowest score round will be used and should a tie continue, the 4th lowest score round is used. The ultimate tie breaker will be the fastest A-Main run of the year.
The dates for all 4 rounds are:
Round 1 - 4th February
Round 2 - 6th May
Round 3 - 29th July
Round 4 - 2nd September
Drivers will be given points for every race per respective category in the following order:
A main 1st - 0 points
A main 2nd - 2 points
(1 point added for every position below onwards)
A main 3rd - 3 points
A main 4th - 4 points

.
A main 10th - 10 points
B main 1st - 11 points
B main 2nd - 12 points
.
.
.
B main 10th - 20 points
.
.
And so on and so forth....
Repeating what is mentioned in the 1st post, 2 rounds with the lowest league scores will be combined to determine overall 2018 position. In the event of a tie, the 3rd lowest score round will be used and should a tie continue, the 4th lowest score round is used. The ultimate tie breaker will be the fastest A-Main run of the year.
There will be a MANUFACTURERS AWARD for 2wd, 4wd & SCT at end of the final round. Points from top 2 finishers per manufacturer/category/round will be added to determine the overall manufacturers rank.
We aim to promote healthy competition among brand distributors and hope to see more of them supporting their drivers in all races.
The total manufacturers points up for grabs will be according to the total number of racers in the respective category.
Example: If there are 8 drivers in 2wd Buggy, 8 points will be awarded to the 1st place driver, 7 points to the 2nd place driver, 6 points to the 3rd... And so on. After that, the top 2 finnishers scores will be combined.
1st - Yokomo - 8pts
2nd - Tekno - 7pts
3rd - Yokomo - 6pts
4th - Tamiya - 5pts
5th - Tekno - 4pts
6th - Yokomo - 3pts
7th - Team Associated - 2pts
8th - Tamiya - 1pt
Total points will be:
Yokomo - 14pts
Tekno - 11pts
Tamiya - 6pts
Team Associated 1pt
This means when there are more drivers in the category, the more points will be up for grabs!
