Ascot R/C Raceway Update
New Years Eve racing went very well. We approx 12 nitro sprinters and no exhaust issues. Fumes were pulled out of the building while cars were running and the exhaust fan continued between rounds.
For 18 scale we had approx 9 18th 4wd and 2 mini-t. 1/10 scale also had a couple of racers for the evening.
We will continue with our regular racing schedule on Jan 7, racing starting at 6pm.

January 14 will be our Grand Opening. This will be the first race of our electric winter points series. The series will be a 3 round series with a 4th round as a final. The best 2 of 3 rounds will be taken and final round as well. Our points system will be 100 pts for 1st and 95 for 2nd and so on. The final will be worth 1 1/2, so 1st will be 150 pts. All electric classes are welcome. The rules and dates for the point series will be posted at our web page. http://www.geocities.com/mccluneyste...rcraceway.html

Wow, thats a drive. We usually finish up sometime between 10 and 11pm. Where are you at? I thought Witchita was only 2hrs or so from Joplin, MO. I guess I thought wrong.LOL Well, maybe we will catch up someplace in the middle somtime.

Any type of soft compound rubber like holeshot or pin tire in the back and standard buggy ribs up front. The track is packed black dirt and grooves well, it does get a little loose on the outside. I would say its mostly tacky, but loose enough to get it sideways if youre going fast enough.
