I have run several laps on the new track and while it is still "green" it drives very nice with a good flow. Gone is any hint of an oval track which is a welcome change.

I have practiced with a 17.5 Novak brushless loaner it to me, it puts the fun back in driving. I will purchase a 17.5 as soon as they come in.

This layout is a vast improvement, and really made driving fun. Thank you to all those involved, it's nice to relax and just drive.

Also, I love, LOVE the pits where they are. It's really nice to be so close to the action. Things are looking better at Fastlane all the time.

The 17.5's in rubber tire looked like fun. I'd probably grab one if I were staying.

Took a few minutes, we were painting the ceiling over the pit area. Making it brighter in the pits. You may need to bring sunglasses next time......

Does fastlane have any 1/12th scale stuff..here is what I need:

1/12th scale servo
proline light-weight body
tires - not sure what works at fastlane, I hear jaco double purple and yellows?

David I think I saw the on road style bodies up there and a hitech servo and they usualy have the CRC foams.I had used pinks in front and gray in back on a 12 scale oval chassie.

They've been making a lot of improvements lately. The pits and the track are now in the same room (with one with the polls). The track is longer and more narrow, but works out well. There's only two polls to worry about, and their impact has been greatly minimized due to the arrangement of the driver's stand. You can now pit just a few feet from the track, so the whole thing feels a lot more connected and personal.

Also, there appears to be an A/C unit sitting near the restroom. I wonder what will happen with that? :-)

The white ceilings over the pits will be really nice. It was a little dark back there, but it sounds like things are much brighter now. I'll be out Wednesday to give the 416 a shot at redemption.

We were closed yesterday and are closed today. I know we have tires on the wall for 1/12 scale. I think the Hitec servo in the case might be a little weak even for 1/12 scale but I'm only working from memory. We sold one 1/12 scale body on Sunday. I'm not sure but it may have been the last we had in stock. Randy will be opening at 5 PM tomorrow (the 26th). Give him a call and he'll check what we have and let you know.

I'll be out of town for a few days or I'd check sooner and post what I found.
