crash and bsydor-can one of you fine gentlemen send me the final set-up you cooked up on the short-arm Xray?
Also-what changes your thinking about on the Warpspeed prototype Xray chassis?
I know we want:
-Servo moved back
-battery moved forward
-wider under droop screws
What else was there?
Thanks,
Ray "well" Huang

Warpspeed XRAY
Servo not only moved back but moved in, using TC3 servo horn. Make the chassis about 2 to 3mm narrower. I don't think the shock towers will need to be made. They are releasing the new rear tower next month. If you want to make them in the new graphite though I would make them like they are now. We also talked about making a front bumper brace like the composite one with sway bar mounts.
Also that ultra stiff bumper you had would be nice.

I'll email you my set-up that I had on the "Blue"
X-Ray. It had way too much traction but it felt neutral.
Good starting point for me though....
1. Batteries moved a half cell forward.
2. Chassis narrowed 1-2 mm.
3. Servo moved farther back towards the rear, to clear the
pivot blocks for the short a-arms, and also moved in
towards the belt with the use of the AE servo arm
(keeping the steering tie-rod perpendicular with
the servo and steering bellcrank).
4. Foam tire front shock tower (4 holes).
5. Rear shock tower with stock body mount locations,
and "new" camber link locations on the outside of the
bulkheads. Maybe just the lower set of holes for
the shocks too.
This is all I can think of right now.
I'll call ya if I think of anything else.

Porter, ROAR legalized turbo plugs this year, so you can now look at 3 port turbo's. I just got an RB V12 3 port turbo for ROAR racing. I've heard from a lot of sources that it is a really great engine.
