The address is 300 Sinclair, South Roxana IL. Just across the 270E bridge to 111N, go to you see Caseys and Dollar General on your right, turn right there (Broadway), go to the stop sign turn left (Sinclar), then go down about 3 blocks on your right.
We run Oval on Sat. nights 1/10 13.5 pan cars, 1/18 Losi Sliders, and 1/18 Mod.
On Sun. we run on-road: 1/10 Touring (13.5BL or stock brushed), and 1/12 Pan (13.5/17.5 or stock brushed)

Cost is $15 to race.

How about an update on the website with the results so it looks like we are still racing?

Ended up bumping from the B after i beat coreys butt, and got 4th in the A in mod truck.
You missed some good racing! Todd BQ'd 1/10th and won to bump into the main. Eddie and Bill gave Todd some opportunity to work lap traffic as they both are just getting the hang of touring. The big challenge for Todd was to pass safely and go the distance which he did. In the A the order was Larry (me) Chris, Ron and Todd. We had an nice sedan train going for about the first 5 laps or so. Then Todd dropped back from Ron, this allowed Ron some breathing room to work on Chris would had a good solid 2nd place. By the end of the race I had lapped the field twice and Ron had caught up to Chris who was a tad over geared and had gone flat. It ended the same way it started but was a good race. In 1/12th Ron TQ'd then Chris, Charlie and Wade. (pretty sure) Charlie wasn't able to stay for the main. Chris got off to a comfortable lead over Ron and Wade who were battling for the first 3 minutes or so. Many changes between Ron and Wade during that time, until Ron ended up with some sort of mechanical problem. So it ended Chris, Wade, Ron, DNS Charlie.

I'm betting the next sedan A-main will be fierce. Todd and Ron have been running neck n neck (33 laps on the verge of 34). Chris runs a 34 lap qual I believe and I just eeekkked over to 36 on my last qualifier. If my memory serves me right Nate and Billy run a fast 33 lap qual also. Thus Billy, Nate, Todd and Ron will ALL be running really close and possibly trailing just behind Chris. This should make for a great race. Hopefully, everyone can make it out for the next one.

*** Blake thanks for your help turnmarshalling. *** Hopefully, you'll be up and running this next one.

Larry, your right! The racing was GREAT!!!
Had a BLAST!!! even though i turnmarshelled every race, but still, watchin the guys runing was awesome to see. Larry was smooth in Touring, and Chris was smooth in 1/12th while Larry is callin the race. NICE calling! Ron was smooth in both classes, while Todd had some problems at the sharp lefthander at the end of the straight!

The cars were BEAUTIFUL! Driving skills were way over my skills! Racing was liking watchin the Snowbirds!

Cant wait until Sunday to try my skills against you guys!

See ya guys Sunday!!!

Is the on-road track asphalt or carpet?
Also, what is the popular 1/12 chassis at the track?

Sorry for the questions, just trying to get some info.

The track indoors is carpet, they have a asphalt track outside, but its closed, they go to Evolution Raceway instead!

What i seen Sunday, most cars were Team Associated 12L4s and some CRC cars, think Ron was running a Gen X (i think), somebody was runnin a Gen X!

For Touring cars, its all XRAY!!! I was the only odd car (Team Losi XXX-S) and i trashed a belt the night before so i couldnt race!

I HIGHLY recommend going to Hensleys!!! You wont be displeased!!!

Well, plan on seeing me there within a month or two with a 1/12 scale then. You guys are the closest and by the pictures on the website, (by the date, they are kinda old) your facility looks great.

I'll probably have questions on setup and all when I get there too.
Do you have a shop on site?
And do I need a PT or do you guys have house transponders?

Thanks for the replys!

(ps- i'm most likely going to the the Gen-X. Seems to be what most people are recommending. Now time to get the money in order, lol)

February will make for some awesome carpet TC racing, several of us are headed to the indoor carpet nationals in March so all of this is the warm up to that. We are to get a new layout soon and this will even it out for everyone this would be a great time to jump in and have some fun. See you soon, and on Sunday for the rest of the crew.

Im know for a fact that ATM me, billy and maby mike will be there.
Me and bill for sure.

Sorry, i had the itch to go out and burn some nitro in my 1/8th off-road car, plus i got up at 3 o clock. Bill did the same thing also, we dusted off the good ol' nitro burners for an hour or so.

Nate

Hensleys is what, 20min from downtown! Not that far! I travel over 70 miles one way from Southern Ill to race, and its worth the gas money!

Sat. is just Oval! They run on a TIGHT time frame Sat. nite!

Going by mapquest, it's about a 45 minute drive for me. I'm willing to drive that far.

Hope to see you guys in the future. I may be up there soon just to watch a race and ask some questions, so.

Thanks.

Sorry, no TC oval class, there has been not much interest in that, the track is 80' x 36' for both oval and on-road.

And yes we are just over the river from St. Louis.
