2ND Annual March Mayhem Trophy Race at Fastlane Raceway
Our 2nd Annual March Mayhem event will be held at Fastlane on March 8th and 9th. This will be the final offroad special event of our 2012 -2013 indoor season.
After 2 very successful 3 day events this season we're going to try something a little different for this event. Many of our local racers who support our track every week are unable to participate in these 3 day extravaganzas. So we're going to run this event as a Friday / Saturday event. As you'll see on the schedule we'll have practice during the day and early evening of Friday but, unlike our previous events, we'll also hold 1 round of qualifying on Friday night. There will be a Saturday morning "last chance" practice with the remaining rounds of qualifying and Mains to be run on Saturday.
This format will allow those who can make it out on Friday to enjoy the full day of practice and all the rounds of qualifying. For those who can only come out on Saturday, they'll still be able to make the minimum number of qualifiers being scored and participate in the Mains. It may be a late night Saturday (early Sunday morning) but this format may work better for some of our local guys.
The event will feature IFMAR qualifying with Qual Points, trophies for TQ and the top 5 in each A Main, and a 2013 edition Fastlane T shirt with each first entry. Entry fees will be lower than our 3 day trophy events with your first class costing $25, a second class an additional $15 and additional classes beyond that $10 each. Fastlane discount cards will not be accepted for race fees for this special event.
The event can be found on RCSignup.net at http://events.rcsignup.com/events/di...nt.cfm?ID=3096
A flyer for the race is attached to this post.

It has BEGUN....!!!!!! Spencer has begun destruction of the Venom layout to recreate his newest off road Mayhem Creation.... I wonder will it be a MAYHEM go down in the history books layout like last year????? Or will it be like drag racing Hotwheels??? I will keep you racers posted..
He mentioned hanging a platform from the ceiling and making a Double Decker track.
I said I think a straight going into a sand pit then threw a small pond with gold fish in it over a pea gravel pit into a loppty loop, followed by a real cool Land mine of boulders with a tall rocky hill climb, then threw the soap strip would be awesome....
Then he said he would just leave me out of the designing process. I don't get it. It would be a blast...

How much time between heats/mains? The reason I ask is because I plan on running mod 2wd SCT but I could also run the 2wd 17.5 blinky class if there is enough time to switch the motor and put ESC in blinky.
