Cajun- The track wasnt open we were digging and burying the loop then putting in the timing system and ran a little to make sure there were no bugs with the software. It was alot more work than play but I didnt wanna wait till the last minute on opening race day and the system not work properly. The cool news it that if you come practice in the evening and you have your transponder I can turn the computer on and it will announce your lap times. We cant do it during buisness hours but it will be on after hours.
thanks Jeremy

Sounds good jeremy. I'll be out around 5-6ish and bring my stool to sit on. I got my shocks done on my SC10 and went up and talked with Eric and got cvd bones for my B4. I will also bring out both my AMB and MRT transponders.

Gonna try and make it out tonight. So where do I get a transponder? Do I need a certain kind? How much are they?

I believe HobbyTown North still has some MyLaps (formerly AMB) transponders and Fastlane has both MyLaps and MRT transponders in stock.

Thanks hope you can make it I know there are a couple of topeka guys coming down the layout is super fun and flows real good. I think breaking them up kinda splits the talent up a bit. Most of your real fast guys wont run 17.5 cause its too slow. Then you got the guys that dont wanna be in novice but feel they get in the way in mod and they can run 17.5 at least that was my thinking behind it.

Looking foward to racing on saturday. I am currently painting a new body for my B4. I talked to one of the short course guys on the phone at work yesterday about transponders and will loan him my MRT(my 2nd one), if he has not bought one yet. Both my AMB and MRT worked on the track.

Default thanks

Thanks too all the guys that came out today for opening day, sorry for the little delay. The mic wasnt working so I had to run to radio shack to get the right cables for the backup one. Also big thanks to Kenny for the help with the track and Dave Alberico for the help with getting the mic going again. I hope everyone has a good easter and see you guys next weekend. I gotta go tommorow so I can get the new speakers and get the louder speakers up and hopefully get the speakers in the pits going. All in all I think it was a good day had a few hickups but those are fixed and it will be better next week.
