No idea on a good 13.5 motor...but the SXX LRP speed control is the smoothest out there. Several different punch settings to completely dial it in to what you want. Easy to use. No need to buy a programmer or a laptop or any other device.

I agree with Rod, sxx is the way to go. I tried a Fantom 13.5 at regionals it was very smooth and fast also came off every time at 125.

As far as availability and at the track support...LRP brand is your best bet at SMAC. Alot of guys are runnning them and can help you with set ups. There are some guys using Tekin and I recently switched from LRP to Tekin RS Pro and they are very good! I did just order the Hotwire USB interface for my laptop but you can use them without. THe Hotwire gives you more tuning options such as timing adjustments, etc.

Lol @ mike!

Yeah I dont think there is food tomorrow. she cannot cook any more.

Did she say that she was going to leave the microwave, oven and fridge/freezer so people could bring in food? I thought I remember her saying that

The unconfirmed date for the JConcepts Indoor Winter Champs is February 6-7. We should get that date cleared before next weekend.

Scott said a couple pages back that there is not a class for 4wd sc. There could be a class for them if you get 7 of your buddies to run with you. Takes 8 to start a class.
