it has some clay in it but its not your typical full clay track trust me u would notice a difference a standard tire will not work at all on a clay surface.. Ur tire set up for best results for smac should be m3-m4,blue-green tire compound

cool thanks for the info! i started out with the ss aka rebars and they did alright. moved to bk bars in the rear and just didnt like the feel. i have to stick with the rebars in the front as those are my only fronts for my b44. i was running 50% tread i-beams on the 8th scale and they were pretty good. ill just have to spray some wd40 on them to keep the dirt from collecting through the run.

ibeams? Is the way wrong tire for smac, its spaced way to far apart, and u actually want the tire to collect dirt thats when your getting full traction, come see me thursday i will let u try a couple of 1/8 tires and u can tell me what u think

Mind if I give a couple of different tires a try? I just got my ESC today so I'm looking at coming up there tomorrow and get things setup. I'm on the market for a new set of tires so giving different ones a test would be helpful.

Try some J Concepts Bar Code in front, if your looking for more steering, more pull out of the front end, soft or super soft. I run super soft at Fastlane.Damp topsoil/clay mix.
Wishbones are another one for a clay mix if its smooth, they wont dig in looser tracks at all though.

That B44 is so dialed just put rims on it with no tires and you will be golden LMAO

oh OK thanks bud. the rebars weren't bad i just didn't feel like it was planted. more pushing on entry to middle but not bad on exit. I'm 90% sure I'm going to be at practice tomorrow. maybe i can trade a couple sets of rears for a set of fronts lol
