so what kind of dirt is smac? i was there last Thursday but I'm not too keen on dirt types lol as i had my cars set up for indoor clay oops :-)
it has some clay in it but its not your typical full clay track trust me u would notice a difference a standard tire will not work at all on a clay surface.. Ur tire set up for best results for smac should be m3-m4,blue-green tire compound

cool thanks for the info! i started out with the ss aka rebars and they did alright. moved to bk bars in the rear and just didnt like the feel. i have to stick with the rebars in the front as those are my only fronts for my b44. i was running 50% tread i-beams on the 8th scale and they were pretty good. ill just have to spray some wd40 on them to keep the dirt from collecting through the run.

maybe they are not ibeams lol im not looking at them at the moment but i thought they were lol. but i know they are more of an outdoor tire but they are all i have haha. i should be there thursday but if i cant make it ill post on here and let you know. and i am new to smac and dont really know anyone but shannon haha. i look forward to meeting you and im sure i will be sitting in the back pit area, pretty easy to spot, big guy running an all white rc8 with bright yellow wing and andrew whittman's old b44.
Mind if I give a couple of different tires a try? I just got my ESC today so I'm looking at coming up there tomorrow and get things setup. I'm on the market for a new set of tires so giving different ones a test would be helpful.

Wishbones are another one for a clay mix if its smooth, they wont dig in looser tracks at all though.

oh OK thanks bud. the rebars weren't bad i just didn't feel like it was planted. more pushing on entry to middle but not bad on exit. I'm 90% sure I'm going to be at practice tomorrow. maybe i can trade a couple sets of rears for a set of fronts lol
Anybody else going to be there tomorrow?
I have some super soft 3ds in newish condition if you scrubb them down real low they would be perfect 4 1/8 scale, matt gosh scrubbed some and they were real good on his car.
Sell them for 25.00$ tyler u can try my wishbones and the 3ds if u would like
