You forgot one thing, the idiot that will want to run the 6s with a 2050! Lol!

2050? Heck, through a 2650 kv in a 6s setup. That's gotta make you faster than anyone on the track.

There is only one race a year in this area where you would have to worry about running a 3s battery. The only roar sanctioned race is the regionals, so if you want to run a 3s do it. I can run my 4wd sc for 20 min and the motor is coming off at 115 and rs pro is coming off 145 with a 2s battery and 5.5 motor. I am not Roar bashing like so many do in the forums, but I just don't see the point in conforming to their rules if that is not the setup you want to run.

Another thing, The number of electric 8th scales has tripled at least this season, so it is only logical that the amount of failures increase too. If someone bitched every time a 10th scale ESC burned up, I bet you would hear of just as many if not more.

I agree that it really sucks when something like this happens, but failure is unavoidable sometimes. There have been many happy users who have had zero issues with the latest RX8, myself included. I think just about everyone knows that I am extremely hard on equipment and run 3 times as much as the average racer.

Zach and I have each ran over 20 packs in our two RX8 equipped losi's over the past 2 days, and have pushed them to the limit without failure.

lol i will say moose is right on here he has ran the hell out of his rx8 the past week since its been nice outside. his rx8 has held up against moose jumping the car and touching the top of the light poles at dirtburners. not to mention he has been there running the car back to back just rotateing batterys and his hasnt failed.

i think its just the luck of the draw with any electronics. iv had many lrp 10th scale speedos go out now. and i knw alot of other people have to. any speedo can fail at any time. its racin shit happens!
