Springfield won't support a track. Maybe Branson and Hollister will work out their racing so they don't conflict but Branson will be on Sunday also.

Steve, The Warehouse that SROC was at sprang a bad leak about 3 months after I took ownership. The warehouse is under renovation untill september. Because the track had to find a new temporary location, TPA hobbies seems Ideal on short noticed.

Matt and I did a check for racing venues within 100mi of springfield, including HobbyTown. Every answer we got was that there would be no racing. So that is why I decided to give TPA a shot to at least have some fun till the warehouse is fixed.

I understand that you want somewheel time and you have to drive a long long ways. If I can get Butch and David to come out to TPA and race it would be some good competition in Sedan. I am going to enter the Nats since its close and I'm really just going to learn how to be better. I haven't driven my sedan much since last summer and that was off and on. It's all be oval for me since then.

TPA is in Hollister, Mo. If you want to run road course try Hobbytown in Branson. TPA is going to run circles.

Mark, the goal was to run oval 13.5 and oval what-ya-brung for the first week then setup roadcoarse along with oval the following races. The reason for oval during the first race was because I have been in Texas for the last two months and just got back into town last night. I have too many things to get done between now and sunday to really prepare TPA for road-corse when I already know there will only be mostly oval racers the first race.

There are a few Springfield oval racers that are going to the Nats and they are going to run road course to practice up.

As far as running the races on another day my mall WILL not let me run on saturday, The reason behind this is the mall may get to busy and they don't want the racing going on at that time. So we at the hobbytown in Branson will be stuck running sundays again. Entry fee is 10bux for first class and then 5 for each after the first entry. The every other sunday was for my sake lol I just got tired of setting up everyweekend... just got old plus maybe this will help the hollister crew get more entries when we have our sundays off. This year will be diffrent and go smoother since this is the second season I hope to get a good turnout... I'll see you in the parking lot !

We do have power outlets outside in the mall- they are not working properly, but they won't be repaired in time for this sunday. (June's race). They will be done for the practice session at the end of month.
By July and August's racing schedule, the outside power should be fine.
As for touring, there are very good touring car drivers here. Bring your 13.5 / open mod motor when you come out.
Thanks for your interest.
