Track will be prepped and ready for practice at 9:30. It's $15 to race and Nitro Sedan is the most popular class right now. Come on out and have some fun!

With regards to our fellow racers, the One Eighth Racers of Toledo hosting the 2013 GLC this weekend, Team Nitro Raceway is taking the weekend off. There will be no organized racing. You may run around the track but it will not be prepped.

Merry Christmas to all! Hope you all got great RC presents.. If not, buy your own! That's what I'm doing! Notice the edit in my signature! Praying for a dry, early Spring!

Gonna talk to Mike about a get-together soon after the New Year to bounce around ideas for next season. Not to early to start.

Best Wishes for a Healthy, Happy New Year!

I just read MWS President Jeff Zuccarells post on Facebook and posted a reply. I'm SO grateful to you guys and gals who make this club such a pleasure to be involved with. I appreciate Jeff and Jons efforts to guide the MWS. Jeff is asking for a boycott of the Byrons Race. If you're not on FB, Leisure Hours wants a bigger cut to host the race. Sound familiar?? He's right when he states that L.H. doesn't care about the local racers. I myself, am going to boycott the Byrons and take it a step further and quit using their fuel. The 5 or 6 gallons I burned last year might not make a difference to them. I hope the scathing email I'm sending to them this afternoon makes an impression,, if they even read it. I hope they do because they need to know what's going on at LH.
Hope to see you all soon. A meeting is being planned to discuss the coming season. More info to follow soon.
I'm in discussions with Enneti Tire to get a bulk rate, club discount. I've had feedback from most of you. As it turns out, Serpent America is the USA distributor. Furthermore, the Enneti account is handled by Paul "Chicky" Ciccarello. We know him from the 8th Scale Racers Club(Toledo). Again, more info to come.

It looks like we won't be going Leisure this year,,, again!! Didn't really miss going last year come to think of it.

Must be the foot of snow I got today, but I'm hoping more than ever for an early spring!
We're going to have a Jan. meeting of all racers interested in this coming season. The MWS schedule will be up by then. Should be plenty to talk about..We want to touch on managing the club, improvements to the track, travel plans to different races, and the usual tall tales about past racing..
We're hoping a somewhat central location will appeal to everybody who's raced with us in the past and want to this season.
We're going to meet for a late breakfast at the Round the Clock restaurant in Lansing Il. It's at 80/94 and Torrence Ave. We'll be there at 10:00am this Sunday, the 26th.the Hope to see a good turnout.
Post here with any Qs. Or PM me.
