what is your suggestion of 12x2 and 13x2 motors ? here the track is small and i need higher turn instead of my 8,9,10T. Is the new CORE motor any good ?

12x2 ? Maxtec (Blue sticker!)...you ain't going to find anything with more torque than this! Shame the company has closed down! I save mine for 'special' 1/12 duty...when I want a car that I cannot drive!

I'm waiting for someone to 'steam' past me using a CORE motor before I get one! I still like my Corallys...a lot!

jack, this is my secret source of finding goodies ! what do u expect from a young man who has nothing to do in Singapore ?
dtm, good, hope to hear from you soon.
The last run with you in PYC before I left, my Corally 9x2 is not performing good. only in its 3rd time of comm cut.

I also gave up on curved scissors but i never got the hang of using circle cutters to cut out the wheel wells. i still use an old fashioned Tamiya cutter made by olfa. i just score the wheel well line slowly and twist the lexan piece a little bit then ,voila! the wheel well is cut and the resulting cut is nice and clean...

Thats because of all the Corally turns 9T is the worse!! nowhere near as much torque as the 10x2 and nowhere near as much rpm as the 8x2...its in 'no mans land'!!

I use the circle cutter for shells with no wheel arches markings....but still like to 'freehand' most of my other shells!

At least you got to use it well... last time i used that thing, my shell looked like it was cut by Eminem with a chainsaw! A hard to find Nascar Lumina shell gone to waste

My style to cut rear wheel wells with no markings is to use the lexan disk cut from the front wheel wells as a template to help me cut the rear wheel wells. I know its a bit complicated but it works for me and im comfortable with this technique...
