Yes....I don't understand why they say apply grease on both sides of the diff plates....it doesn't work for the 201 diffs because there is not slot to reduce the surface area on the outdrivers....only results in the thing slipping more.....I use ASSC thread lock instead!!!!

I heard during the Tamiya World Championship they let you cut holes in the chassis and gearbox because the minimum weight rules in japan are lower than what we run in the TAC...

In that case...DO IT.... unless Tamiya come out with an optional chassis before the races!!!!!

should i use the yellow-glue to glue the outdrive and the ring together ?

they let racers cut the chassis because this will ake the chassis more prone to breakage = more business/income !!

I'm a bit disappointed with the Tamiya packaging on the F201. They use to identify the bags and tell you which bag to look for the bits....none of that with the 201...this is definately a step backwards.

Also the screws are everywhere.....the lock screws for the diff were in a different bag to the other screws for the diff...took me ages to find it...it was packed with the wheel nuts!!!!!!!
