i havent, but i am using a solid axle adaptor from HASIMOTO. I dont know who copies who but they are exactly the same design. (kawahara Vs Hasimoto) it only comes with the adaptor itseld and you need the large pulley and the outdrives from a regular diff.

haha.....I don't like the fact that the kawa bumper does not protect the front edge of the chassis....with the V1R + kawa bumper I get the best of both worlds!!!

I do trust kawahara products. but that would only rate up to 60% of their products. somes are not really good at all.

Stick with the Kyosho conversion...its cheaper and does the same job...easier with spares as well!!!!

so given a second chance, would you go for the Kawa conversion or use dtm's method of fitting the V1RR hubs?
