the american market..probably, but then...im almost 100% sure that japanese people would not be buying cheap ass crap graphite! they are known to leave the best for themselves and the crap for other people!

Actually, Yokomo Japan gets their graphite from the same place in San Diego (well El Cajon, 15 miles east of SD, where I live)

We have a ton of machine shops out here, and some of the best graphite comes from here... unfortunately some of the worst does as well.
