Justr was looking at seat availability/flights on Hawaiian and the price has gone up almost $400. Maybe should've book earlier.

I have no idea. But my other half is watching the prices I think she's planning on purchasing after her work pay period. Hopefully prices won't go up even more

Last year I booked through Hotwire.com and was able to get airfare and hotel for around $900 for the week. You will have to travel a different airline than Hawaiian though but if you can deal with stopping in LA it can save you a decent amount of money. And, if you want to stay in the same block of rooms that are set for the IIC you will need to upgrade the room.

Even with all that I still saved around $300-$400

I was looking at United flights thru Orbitz and Kayak and they were half the price with stop overs, 7 to 8 hours flight time. If Hawaiian prices don't go lower, might go with United.

I think the spike in the prices is because the furloughs for the air traffic controllers. So I will wait a couple months to this all shakes out and prices should come back down. I hope.

finally a full day of racing. 1/12 has all the fun competition. very fun. Good to see visitors and spectators at the track. So how did Christian like the track? im very surprised he learned it quickly.
