Well, well...how's every body doing? I just keep looking at my cars hoping to one day race again. I mounted the Gianna body that I got from IIC 2 years ago. Everything else is just collecting dust.

Maybe its a sign for me to retire from RC. Been doing this since '86. Never was a good driver anyway. But I had a great time doing it, met a lot of people, and got to do some traveling, Maui, Kauai, Big Island, Cali, Vegas!

Well it is looking like ABCRI is running into some snags in trying to get things worked out with the city but hopefully nothing they can't work through. In the mean time I am going to try contacting the city and see if they will let us use the facility while things are getting ironed out with ABCRI. I'm getting the racing itch again too.

"Tarp" she blows

I'm kinda looking for a new vehicle. Right now I'm looking at Rav4 XLE/Limited, Forrester XT, Escape Titanium Eco Boost 2.0, CRV EX-L, and Camry SE Hybrid. I'm leaning more towards SUVs because of interior space. The Camry is for gas mileage considering where I live and how far I travel to and from work. The SUVs have around the same gas mileage. I think the Honda is a little more.

So, any suggestions and/or comments about the above vehicles to help me decide. Other than that I'll just keep my truck.

The good news, I go back to work next week. The bad news is my day off schedule has changed to Friday and Saturday. So no more racing on Sundays until my day off changes again back to Sunday and Monday which will be "who knows when". Since we don't any where to race right now its not to bad.

But I'm still looking forward going IIC with you guys so keep me in the loop about it.

Hey Goots you still working for the Audio Visual Co? If you are, tell Tracy Kai I said "Hi".

Oh yeah, I narrowed it between the Forrester and the Rav4. I read there might a hybrid Rav4 next year.

Good to hear you well enough to go back to work. I too am looking forward to IIC. Just sitting tight to hear the official date and location. Meanwhile, I'm going to try my hand at off-road this Sunday, on the 12th at sandbox. Anyone else interested?

Have you guys heard of Desiree Bassett? She really can shred a guitar. And good looking too. Check out her videos on YouTube.

Hey Burt, go dust it off and come out this Sunday. I'll be at the sandbox racetrack. They having races, gate open at 7am ish. I have no idea how to drive or jump 1/8 buggies, but what the hell, I'm going anyways. Lol. I couldn't decide on electric or nitro, so I going run both.

My opinion, if you don't spend a lot of time in stop and go traffic the hybrid will take a long time to pay for its self.

Hope to see you guys in Vegas this year.

No Vegas for me this year. No racing at all looks like. So why do I want to still spend money on my cars? Crazy I guess, but you guys already knew that.

Hey Eric, we have the third worst traffic in the nation!

I do spend a lot of time in traffic, whether I catch the bus or drive to work, that's why I'm waiting to see what the price range and gas mileage will be for Rav4 Hybrid.

Soooo, goots and Frank are not going to IIC, who else planning to go or not going?
