Do you think that if I bring up the idea of free child care being a scam, it’ll be too political for the basement thread?

Federal guaranteed student loans are a scam. Perhaps not in the beginning, but it has been perverted into a scam.

Which, come to think about, is another form of "free" child care.

i gotta get a dash cam. saw a wild one on my way home from work
got about a mile from work and traffic is majorly backed up. that street does that for no reason sometimes. i see a guy approach a silver CRV about 6 cars in front of me. no idea why. i thought maybe he got out of the blue civic that was next to it, maybe a road rage incident. looked like the guy and the driver of the CRV exchanged words, guy on foot was noticeably mad. starts to walk away. he gets in front of the civic, turns around comes back to the CRV has a very short heated exchange. takes a step back and BAM! introduced the bottom of his shoe to the passenger door of the CRV. caved it in pretty good right across the body line under the window. he then proceeds to walk around the civic.

A lot of these big Rightwing podcasters got bought out. Tucker was the biggest surprise. I can't believe they are saying the stuff they are. They are totally contradicting themselves with what they were saying not too long ago. A lot of other podcasters are calling them out on why they are flipping their words now. Especially on Iraq.

Anyone guessing what will happen to Jimmy Kimmel after his comment last Saturday right before the assassination attempt?

didn't see/hear his comment. but iv had the opinion of fuck Kimmel for years now. when the show first started it was alright. but the last like 10 years have been a shitshow.
who the hell is still watching any of the late night shows anymore? all i keep hearing is how the ratings suck. cancel all of them it would be good for society.
