Yesterday I was watching a YouTube short about a screaming white woman talking about white being the only slave owner in history, yeap that what you call a failed education system. Whites have been the only race to outright eradicate slavery. Every single other race still has a form of slavery to this day.

North African slave trade? primarily run by Muslims. sold blacks and Muslims into chattel slavery and indentured servitude.
Barbary slave trade. Ottoman pirates kidnapping pretty much anybody and seizing European merchant ships and selling the crews into both chattel slavery, indentured servitude and holding them for ransom.
and that's just the tip of the iceberg and covers less than 200 years.
indentured servitude is still practiced pretty much everywhere in the world. in some places its out in the open and culturally accepted, in other places its considered "black market". oddly enough it's the Westernized countries where it's illegal/black market.

Slavery has been going on sense the beginning of human history. They still have it in the middle east. The U.S. didn't totally abolish slavery. The 13th amendment makes an exception to the incarcerated. That's how you got chain gangs.

Speed Chaser: Sometimes well meaning white people, like the woman you mentioned, make things worse. I've seem ignorant progressives spew misinformation which pisses the right off and makes them double down on their racism and misinformation. And I keep telling you to ignore that shit.

I don’t know why I should ignore it. If I find something stupid, annoying, interesting, or funny, I’ll talk about it the same way else brings up their own stuff. I’ll just point out that I’ve seen more racism and misinformation from the left than from the right all I have to do is turn on MSNBC or CNN or any other legacy media and watch them go on and on about the white man. Something funny I just remembered was a conversation I had with this lefty chick a few years ago. She was saying how stupid the right is for being anti-vaxxer. I told her that both sides have people who are anti vaxxers they just have different reasons.

For example, when Trump started Operation Warp Speed, many leftists said they wouldn’t get the vaccine simply because Trump was involved. On the other hand, many on the right believe the negative side effects outweigh the positives. For instance, some still think mercury is used as a vaccine preservative. She completely ignored one side and focused only on the other, continuing to spread the same misinformation that it was exclusively a right wing thing, even though I showed her it wasn’t.
"Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States…" So yeah slavery was abolished as an institution. The exception I call paying their debt to society.

Finding it funny or stupid is one thing. But if you don't ignore the bullshit(be it from FOX or CNN) then you're part of the problem. And yep, I knew anti-vaxxers on both sides. And I thought both were idiots but didn't argue with them. They were also equally paranoid about catching covid. To which I told them, by not getting vaccinated, they weren't helping things.

A lot of these people I come across while gaming, usually on discord or the in-game live chat, so to me it’s just free entertainment if the game is going through a slow period.
