Currently working on modifying the hot racing “adjustable” motor plate by filing the motor mounts to allow for a even bigger pinion, the biggest I am able to run with the hot racing plate is a 21T 3.175mm 48p gear using a 2-3mm motor sleeve there is not enough adjustment to fit any bigger, looking to go to a 25T to help with top speed and cut down on the spektrum 6000kv torque. Has anyone else tried this for clay track racing? I don’t think many carpet track guys would need this the track I’m setting up for has a big triple jump I’m aiming to clear need more usable speed.
