Do all cars have a VIN code? Like, what if it’s not a regular car? Or if it’s an electric car?
All regular cars have a VIN code. Electric cars too. Actually, their VIN isn’t really different from a classic car’s, and you can even tell if it’s electric or not by the VIN. As far as I know, really old cars have a different kind of code, but services like
FAXVIN can check the car even with the old code that has less than 17 digits. But I think that’s not the best option, ‘cause who knows how the car was maintained back then, if all accidents were registered and all that. Basically, the older the car, the more doubts you get. And the condition will definitely be worse.
