ROAR electric off-road Region 4 race
This years ROAR electric off-road region 4 race will be held at Holeshot Raceway. For those that do not know, ROAR does not offer any assistance with regional races only national races and above, so everything from awards to prizes is done by the host track. With that being said, we are actively seeking sponsors for this event so we can give out prizes during the race. There will be awards for the top 5 in each class.
The dates for this race are 10/4-10/5. There will be open practice with paid registration from 10-5 on Friday 10/4. Saturday 10/5, doors open at 7:00 with practice ending at 9:00. We will be checking each vehicle entered for weight, motor, esc and battery voltage The qualifiers will start tentatively at 10:30 as long as teching is completed. All of the classes are listed on RCSignups along with entry fees.
I know there is concern with where the electric 1/8 vehicle are going to race. We are working on this! We are currently are speaking with our building owner on moving to a bigger facility in the same building, which means a bigger track. We will keep you posted.
As for the stock classes. There is plenty of time to choose what motor you will be running if you are currently using the Duo 3.5 17.5t motor. As for now, this motor is not legal per ROAR, not the host track. If there are any changes, we will keep you posted.
We will do our best to make this race fun and successful. Remember, if you are currently sponsored or seeking a sponsorship, the ROAR region 4 race is a great item to list on your resume!

That is the same weekend as the Florida Outdoor Off-Road Champioship at Rotors, Rudders, and Wheels in Belleview, FL. How is that going to work having two big races on the same weekend at tracks so close to each other?
