I'll be there. It is just 5 minutes from work. You know if you need help with the computer systems or want to do video streaming, I can do all that for you.
Thanks Rfury I knew I could count on you and all my friends, there will be a lot of things that will need to get done an I'm sure if other people have done it us Georgia racers can do it as well.
Carl Knight

I just had a PM we might be looking for only 6 more people to get this thing started!!!

This sounds awesome Carl!

It is not far from my work. Would be great to have a place to turn laps after work.

It is awesome, if I listen real close I pretty sure I hear the wheels starting to turn, I have discussed this project over the phone with a very interested party, we meet at the track site tomorrow, in one day we are moving from needing 7 to 6, remember everyone the sooner you get in, the higher you will be on the totum pole, HAHA!

A great track to look at is Mike's Hobby Shop & Raceway in Dallas, Texas.

If I were to invest how long would it be until I started seeing a return?

Thanks man that would help a lot!

Great news today another person has step up to the plate so now we have three for sure, five to go. In just two day's we have got nearly half the people we need to start this, I spoke with the real estate agent today they are drafting up a lease for Feb 1, if you know people that love rc racing an you think they might have the money needed to help get this started call them tell them to read this post and let's make sure we don't miss this chance to put Georgian's on the RC racing map.
Very Excited, Carl Knight

I can't say for sure it depends on several things that are unknown at this time, but that is the goal to have the track make money an pay the investors back an the track operate on it's own money, for as a long as the track is operating any profits will be split up as we the board (the original 8) vote on.
Since it is a year round track, all weather track, racing 2 days and practicing 2 day's a week, it should be pretty soon if we can keep the racers coming to race here.
There has already be outside interest for holding a large national type event, it's things like this that make this so exciting.

Let's do this!!! Carl Knight

Another thing to consider would be fixed pit tables and the ability to rent a pit spot for 6-12 months time frame. This would give you additional start-up capital. Memberships as well can help. Reduced entry fees and either free or reduced practice fees with entry fee.

Hope this takes off!!
THIS!!!! +1!!!!!!

Things are plugging right a long, as things keep working toward opening the track, it would be nice if some of you guys could do like Jmuck did an post some ideas you have seen at other tracks that work really well, for example best designed nitro's pit lane, driver's stand, special races, etc.
What is some of the best idea's you've seen at other track's we can do to make this track the best for Georgia RC racers.
