xray is a good car. their plastic moldings are excellent. however, given their formulation it is a stiffer less forgiving plastic. thats why they tend to brake more often after hitting something hard compare to the AE and CRC.

CRC, plastic bends and will last the race but then you are left trying to find the bent part to correct the handling... ANd you have to replace parts more often... thats where I a with mine. Havinig to rebuild the whole front end to find the bent part...

These look cool. I'm surprised to not have heard of them before.

Oh yeah. I've had my eye on those since the announcement on RedRC. Curious to know how much thickness it adds in lieu of using shims though.

it is an interesting piece... I seen them used on 1/10 scale cars with the progressive springs (CRC and AE) and have to wonder how compatible it is with the different wheels and king pin caster angles for 1/12th scale. The e-clip is already pretty close to the inside of the wheel in some cases. This could create and rub condition limiting the amount of caster.

From BMI
Hey guys,

First off, I hope you all have a happy and safe new year.

I want to let you all know that our computer system has been down for about a week and a half at the shop. I got it back up and running but still have a few bugs to work out. All of the orders that have been placed have shipped out but notifications of shipment to your email have not been sent due to these issues. Sorry for the inconvenience. Things should be running back to normal shortly.
***************

So I guess I need to go check the mail this morning. If no BMI parts for my 12th scale I will be working on the VTA car tomorrow until I have no more tire left. Probably won't take long. Where are those rear VTA tires?????

Looks like I will not be able to make it tomorrow. And if the amount of tread on danny's car doesnt bother you, the lack of roundness will!
