What are the future plans for 1/12? I have been thinking about running mine (no promises) but I'm confused as to what everyone wants. Mod or 13.5? Boost or blinky?

Sorry for D-Man causing the confusion. D-Man is wanting to run mod for the GORC race. For 1/12th scale running at HS for club racing, we are running 13.5 spec/blinky. As for right now (which always stands to change) this is the only class we can get enough racers for and is what we plan to run in prep for Nashville race in Sept. Following that we will continue club racing prepping for the GORC race in Nov and lets see if we can't get One Lug to put a race on as well. After all that lets see if we can't then recover from the traveling, practice lots and then hit the road to snowbirds at the end of Jan.

I think we are half a year in now and sorry to say Boost is gone. It sucks and everyone has there opinions and hopefully we won't turn this thread into hearing them all but factually it is gone.

This clears it up for me. I wasn't sure what everyone wanted to do. Thanks for the answer. I can have the car prepped for 13.5 blinky a lot faster than anything else. I just need to decide if I want to try to run two classes or not. It can get pretty hectic running two cars on race day.

I had a great time racing with you guys last night. Everyone is getting faster and becoming better racers. The starts are cleaner the passes are more thought out. New faces and returning faces made a good race turn into a great race night

We are going to be hosting the Second Annual VTA Fall Championship Series at HotShotRC Raceway in less than 2 weeks.

The race dates will be Sept 12, Sept 19, Sept 26, Oct 3, Oct 10, Oct 17, Oct 24 and the final race will be on Oct 31. Racing will start at 8pm.

Other classes are welcom to race. We welcome USGT, TC, 12th scale Pancar, F1 racers to race as well.

There are eight races with three drops! This works out for the racers that cannot make it to every race. There will be an extra 5 point bonus, and a special prize for those that make all eight races.
