That's easy. Chad is getting old, his left blinker will be on the whole race.

LOL, I am hoping by the time you get taillights, I might learn how to drive, and it would be a non-issue.

Considering I blew the B4 motor on saturday, and went home sunday with a broken hinge pin and mount on the TC, and a broken axle on the VTA, I am just having a tough time of it all...

it is easy to say dont hit the walls, but man, those outside walls are inmovable and it really beats the cars up. I have never gone through so many front end bearings on my 12thscale as this place. I know, stop hitting the wall

hey grant, are u running battlefield on sat. I plan on being there with the vta car. been wanting to see how these run in asphalt. i think there will be enough folks to run 175 and may be mod. the later I hope so also, cause its been I while I gotten to run one.

Like I always say, the track can be 80 feet wide and the walls are still to close to the track!

And the VTA cars love the surface.

I totally agree, and it's just practice and driving skill. I watch some of the guys just thread the needle perfectly on the track, and I do more of the pinball wall to wall bouncing method. I am breaking less, and I figure it's just the price of learning.

No Battlefield for me. I am actually out of town the next two weekends. I am heading to Daytona for the NASCAR race this weekend, and we are heading to the new race in Kentucky the following weekend. It's a good excuse to get out, and I get to go with some good friends and coworkers. Friday after work we head out, tailgate all day saturday, watch the race that evening, and drive home sunday. I might try to make it out midweek next week, but it's not very likely. Monday is really my only day off that I am free, and that is the holiday. July 16th is my first weekend free, and will see who has what going on that weekend. I am sure everyone will be running 12.5's by then and I will be even farther behind!

We did have our first 17.5 class last Saturday at Hot Shots and it was a blast. Chad was racing by himself at the front, but Ryan and I had some good fun, and he irked out the pass in the last corner before the timers on the second to last lap, and finished a well deserved 2nd place. I'd love to get more out there, as there was some good driving (more from the others, less from me) and it seemed pretty entertaining to the crowd.

Have a great weekend and great 4th of July though!

I found the HPI panel best. comes with 2 panels so 2 people can split the cost or you just have an extra for another body
