VTA

As soon as I find a spoiler I'll use it. The body I bought didn't come with a spoiler, only the wing. I'll probably keep this body until I can go the whole way around the track with only 1 or 2 impacts with the wall before I upgrade.

You know you got that hood love, did I see some goo on shoes?!?
You can make a spoiler from the flashing from your body when you cut it out. There are no spoiler kits for sale per say, people just fabricate them from scrap lexan.
The J71 body because the front bolts/glues on is more for the intermediate to advanced racer. From what I have seen the front is a bit dilicate. Gotta watch the walls with body.
You better start using glue/goo on those VTA bodies before their first race if you want the body too last. Be generous with the the goo. I am sure everyone's cars are underweight, so help yourselfs out and be generous with the goo...
If you went to the Wal Mart on Bellferry Road they were probably sold out, they only have it half the time I go there. But their other Wal Marts & they are pretty close to one another.[/QUOTE]
Cause thats the hood and theres people running around with shoes made from that stuff

I went to the walmart on bellsferry and looked all over..no shoo-goo..looked in the paint aisle, looked in the arts and crafts aisle, looked in the office supply aisle, looked in the show aisle...no shoo-goo. as for application, I consider the body itself a shoo-goo mold.

wal mart doesnt sell it anymore. you have to get it online, hobbytown or from a shoe store.

i will have my driver figure with me on saturday mounted in a camaro if anyone wants to see how it is mounted to the body.
Also here is my almost finished J71. I like the body but i hate how the front end mounts. Tough call if i will ever buy one again.

Its not hard to mount, but they only give you like a 1/4" area to mount the screws to the front bumper to hold it secure. Using 6 total screws. Also you have to use shoe-goo to help hold it together also. That is a recommendation form Proto-form. Other than that the body is very well design and has very good flowing lines like the camaro.

got the Javelin painted and driver figures installed. used an old chassis standoff post and screws to attach it to the chassis. Tires glued and painted the side wall wording and put a pinstrip on the wheels edge.
now need wiating for the Havok and SS 25.5 to arrive. If they arrive by Tuesday I should have the car ready for Wednesday night!
Well that and trying to figure out how to mount over 100 grams to make the 1550 figure.
