Hey Adan, Turltetrax is great place to race! It is outdoors, plenty of power outlets, and I think your Jammin' is four wheel drive. There are at least five guys with 4x4 SCT's. We run 1/10 buggy, 1/10 SCT and 4x4 SCT. Come on out and have some fun!

Those pictures from last week and watching the buggies at HT really reminded me of when I raced my old B2....

SCT looks cool. Which truck should I get? Will a KO Bmc be ok?

A KO was in the buggy that won the GA Champs race. You don't need crazy timing in off-road. So far, I've liked my SPX best for off-road. Smooth as butter and plenty fast.

Bout to head down to prep the track see you guys in a couple hours. Weather looks good for an evening race lets hope the later start helps with shade and moisture.

what size BL motor and pinions should I pick up for running SC10 2wd?

Tires: are the kit stock tires ok or are there others? Are these available at the onsite shop?

It depends what speed controller your running. If your running a Speed Passion GT2.0 or a Tekin RS than a 17.5 duo2 is the way to go, with the boost you can get all the straight away speed of a 13.5 but its got a smoother bottom end to keep you from sliding in the infield.

If your running a speedo without boost than you'll want to go the 13.5 route to get the speed in the straight that the guys with the better speedo's can run. Also the Duo2 is the motor to have.

We allow anything up to a 13.5 brushless but I prefer the 17.5's just because there a little more smooth and will be more apt to point people in that direction. Some others prefer the punch of the 13.5 but are a little more able to drive it than I am, I acctualy put down faster lap times with the slower motors
