I mentioned this on Sunday, here is the info.

Wiregrass Indoor Nationals - August 6-8, 2010 Ozark, AL

Looks like the 2wd SCT "Limited" class fits the TT SCT class!

1/10th Scale Limited 2WD CORR Truck Class(electric)


* Any 1/10 2wd truck that is available to the public and made as a "CORR"
* type truck allowed(Traxxas Slash, HPI Blitz, AE SC10, Losi Strike, Etc)

* Must use either stock body or aftermarket body designed for truck. Added
* wings are not allowed.

* Tire/rim combination must be 3.0” inside bead diameter x 2.2″ outside bead
* diameter. Any tire marketed for the Short Course Trucks. No cutting/making
* tires. 1/8 or 1/10 Scale rims/tires NOT allowed. Tires/wheels must remain in
* stock form, zero modifications allowed.

* Batteries allowed will be either one 7.2 volt(6cell) nicad/nimh or one 2s 7.4
* volt lipo battery. No mah limit.

* Motor: Stock Kit motors or 13.5 Brushless. Must be available to the public.

* Chassis: Must remain in stock form, no modifications(Length, width, etc)

* Must be 2wd and may use ball or gear differentials.

1/10th Scale Open 4WD CORR Truck Class(electric):

* Any 1/10 4wd truck that is available to the public and made as a "CORR"
* type truck allowed(Traxxas Slash, Hyper 10SC, Jammin SCRT10, Etc)

* Must use either stock body or aftermarket body designed for truck. Added
* wings are not allowed.

* Tire/rim combination must be 3.0” inside bead diameter x 2.2″ outside bead
* diameter. Any tire marketed for the Short Course Trucks. No cutting/making
* tires. 1/8 or 1/10 Scale rims/tires NOT allowed. Tires/wheels must remain in
* stock form, zero modifications allowed.

* Batteries allowed will be either one 7.2 volt(6cell) nicad/nimh or one 2s 7.4
* volt lipo battery. No mah limit.

* Motor: No motor limit Brushless. Must be available to the public.

* Chassis: Must remain in stock form, no modifications(Length, width, etc)

Slash Spec. Short Course Truck Scale: 1/10th

* Slash 2WD Short Course Trucks Only

* Must use either stock body or aftermarket body designed for trucks. Added
* wings are not allowed. (No Beetles)

Ø Both the front & the rear suspension systems must remain in stock form. Original parts only. No aftermarket/Hop up replacement components may be installed. Box Stock Shocks, NO Big Bore. Aluminum Shock caps are legal.

Ø Direct replacement parts are allowed. For instance if RPM makes it for the Slash it is allowed. Ball Differentials are NOT permitted in the Spec Class. No performance upgrade parts. The part must be a direct replacement part for the Slash.

Ø No modifications may be made to the steering system. Original Kit parts only.

Ø Original Kit electronics Speed Control & Servo only. Traxxas – 2075. You may install any Receiver you so choose. On board traction/drift device or Gyro’s NOT permitted.

I heard about this race last year. Gotta make it this year. Should be alot of fun! We should get a good group to go down for this one.

That sounds like a bunch of fun. We'll have to wait and see if Gene gets his SCT and has it up and going by then. I'm sure he will have a hankering for a big race and may close down shop for that weekend so we can go, then again he may not. If he does though I am game and we can probobly have a car pool (or a couple) leaving from TT so you have a safe place to leave your vehicle regardless of weather we run or not

Then again Gene might want a vacation and have you stay home and run the store while we go and have fun. That way he gets to have fun and not miss out on any sells at the store. Just kidding Adam. It would be great to get a big group to go to this one.

Do I want to drive all the way to Alabama just for a beating? Lets talk about this when it gets closer. I might like to go if I can swing it.

Who wants to run a 20 minute main with an SCT?? Plus it breaks one of my new rules... no racing in Alabama.

On another forum, they said it was 2 x10 min mains for the electrics. No ideas beyond that at this point. They are still long for electrics.

Im in... I should have a truck by then however not crazy about the 20 min thing. Running 2 different 10 min would be ok with cool down time.
