No difference in ROAR ins, maintance or track setup for nitro or electric. Noise can be reduced with an INS box and it's a wide open parking lot. I'm assuming they are using the old clubs drivers stand and track setup boards.

My guess is the only hangup is noise, and the other reasons are just smoke. I'd be afraid of noise too if I had never actually heard a nitro race. Its just not that loud, and an open parking lot in a heavily commercial area?

I am disappointed I suppose, but only because my nitro kit will be collecting more dust and becoming ever more dated.
