So....this means that No aftermarket (RPM, Traxxas aluminum, etc...) suspension arms, shock towers, steering bellcranks, axle carriers or steering blocks?
Aluminum shocks may be used...so a set of losi 8ight shocks are OK?
"no aftermarket wheels/tires", do you mean "no aftermarket non-SCT wheels/tires" like 1/8 buggy wheels? Because you mention JConcepts, which are aftermarket.

If it's a direct bolt on hop up it's good PIMP it out if you want. Just no altering the physical state of the truck. Also any tire wheel combo is fine as long as they are SCT specific NO 1/8th

Look for the ROAR approved motors that are labeled as 13.5 or 17.5. Novak, SP, LRP, Hacker, Orion, Tekin and Trinity are some of the brands. These are the motors all tracks use for spec type racing. The more basher oriented motors tend to use kV ratings since they aren't designed for any certain class of racing.

We now interrupt for this special news bulletin.
Kyosho has finally put up a page for the Ultima SC! And apparently are looking at a January release date. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't have the triple cap shocks 
That's one of my favorite parts about my buggy....

and you can throw an HPI blitz into the mix as that is the SCT that I am shooting for.
