So....this means that No aftermarket (RPM, Traxxas aluminum, etc...) suspension arms, shock towers, steering bellcranks, axle carriers or steering blocks?
Aluminum shocks may be used...so a set of losi 8ight shocks are OK?
"no aftermarket wheels/tires", do you mean "no aftermarket non-SCT wheels/tires" like 1/8 buggy wheels? Because you mention JConcepts, which are aftermarket.

If it's a direct bolt on hop up it's good PIMP it out if you want. Just no altering the physical state of the truck. Also any tire wheel combo is fine as long as they are SCT specific NO 1/8th

Look for the ROAR approved motors that are labeled as 13.5 or 17.5. Novak, SP, LRP, Hacker, Orion, Tekin and Trinity are some of the brands. These are the motors all tracks use for spec type racing. The more basher oriented motors tend to use kV ratings since they aren't designed for any certain class of racing.

I think what he meant is that the more name brand racing motors are the wind rated motors. You won't see tebo or kinwald running KV stuff because ROAR doesn't recognize it. Castle just needs to catch up and wind rate their stuff so they are on the same page as everyone else in the norm. It's also like saying a 13.5 is the same as a 27T or 19T BS!!! I would have killed to have a 19T that was that fast back in the day. Run what ya got when you start lapping 2nd then we will talk

We now interrupt for this special news bulletin.
Kyosho has finally put up a page for the Ultima SC! And apparently are looking at a January release date. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't have the triple cap shocks That's one of my favorite parts about my buggy....
Check it out!

We now return you to the usual nonsense and smack talk that is Georgia racing....
