I guess the lineup change was necessary, but the original lineup was just fine IMO. For those looking who haven't read the 411 here's the cliff notes bio http://www.answers.com/topic/jackyl

I was really fortunate to grow up touring with my stepfathers band which was the same guys from 79 through 89 so it was a good run. If we'd have lost anyone it would not have been the same. Bands are like companies, leave them alone and quit changing sh@@ and everything will be fine.

I only had one at a time... I wish I could have kept them all.

As far as job... I just had to sell my soul to IT.

The Vette is lighter and more controllable. The Mustang was putting down more HP. 1/4 mile would go to the Stang, but corner carving goes to the Vette.

This is my rig. The Alesis amp I still have but I replaced it with a Rocktron Velocity 100.

I'd like to check out the studio sometime

I do however know someone that may have a Marshall Head or two for sale but they won't be cheep.

The lower Marshall cab is beat but works just fine. I belonged to the band JACKYL. I plan to redo the cab one of these days and make it like new but it takes money to do that and I spend to much these days on RC

ever get to play the chainsaw in the lumberjack song?

The Warrior style looks cool but I'm not sure about how it would feel. A Kelly/Firebird style is more to my likeing.

I never played for or with Jackyl, I just had a chance to buy this cab and bought it.
I have a friend that played for a couple of well known Atlanta area bands in the 80's and he sold some of his gear to Jackyl at one time and this happens to be one of his old cabs.
