Guys....95% of the time when you think someone is on your freq it's not. Countless times I've heard "who's on my freq!" and checked to find their the only one with it. Then there's the "well I've never had any problem with this radio/receiver before" and they find the problem. These cars take quite a pounding on the track between bumps and crashes and especially vibration.
We need a constructive way to monitor this. The way things are now at the Bowl it's hard to tell people at the offroad they can't be there. In the past when the Bailey's were still owners we could control it, now we don't even know if we're supposed to be there. If someone could make up a sign, say 2' x 2', saying "Check With Onroad Before Turning on Your Radio" or to that effect and put on their drivers stand. If the board we use was of a type where we could use an eraseable marker we could list the freqs we're using. Even going down to the offroad track when we see someone there and asking (politely) what channel their on and ask them to spread the word to others that show up to check with us first.
Any takers on making a sign?
Randy...do you really think that's why the Bowl "died out"?

Didn't say that at all! Could be you were in that 5%. Also if your car is getting hit chances are they're getting hit as well.
Did say we could work towards a solution. And that solution won't happen on this forum, it'll happen by doing something at the source of the problem!

Sorry was not trying to start any thing. It's just with the new owners there is no schedule for onroad or offroad.I't just play until it's gone.
