Chad I don't think that's what he is saying. I think he was just making the point that even if all the 12th scales had 19's in them, not all of them would have ran 75 plus laps. But if you convince everyone that it was just because of motor then you're going to have a lot of guys quit after they get the "fast motor" and still don't run 75 laps.

Where can I get one of those Famiya F1's like Randy has? I thought I had all the F1 brands. I feel like I'm missing something! I'm giving strong consideration to putting in a 540 Mabooch motor for saturday in the F1 class. I hate charging batteries between heats...one charge does it all! Those things are so smooth. You guys figure this other stuff out. I just want to make laps... win (not likely) or lose (most likely). Well, as long as I beat Tommy.

OK guys, all the bitchin' and moanin' is cool, but all jokes aside. We need to decide what the rules are gonna be for 12th scale. It's frustrating trying to figure out what motors to build to come down for the weekend. First I was told stock, then I asked about 13.5 in stock and was told no one was running it. I was told everyone was running stock. Now everyone is talking about 19 turn and some mention of 10.5's and 13.5's. People talk about wanting to get new people in the sport. I don't think a 10.5 or a 19 turn in a 12th scale would be a very good combination to start with. Again, I really don't care what we run, but I would like to know what to bring to the race track. And I certainly don't think it's a good idea to mix 19turn and stock because the closing rate with a 19 turn would be so great against a stock, you would have people constantly running over each other.

Just a pet peeve of mine:

Stock is not a skill level; it's a racing class.
