I dunno which you are referring to but the LRP chargers are quite nice. Completely adjustable and can ever break in motors or run lathes!

Integy (CDC in Asia) makes good chargers.
Glad that you already bought the Integy not that super brain....

CE PitBull is not bad either....that's a deal from Eddie.

Don't buy the SuperBrain...there are reports that they do not charge lipo properly and that they can cause lipo batteries to fail.

MRC and LIPO don't mix! This Orion 3200 was charged by a MRC charger. Now it's a $80 paper weight!

hey. was it the 989 with the lipo charging problems or was it some older versions. I have a new 989 that came with no power supply or instructions. I've been waiting since just after my b-day(end of march) for these 2 things. My LHS is willing to refund my cash for the purchase of something else. Its been awsome for my good 4200's but its lipo time and was wondering if theres a good lipo/nimh charger out there or is the 989 OK? Thanks. Dan.

I don't recall which model MRC charger he had when the lipos were damaged.

I have found that the new Checkpoint TC1030 is a very nice high-end charger for both Lipo and Nimh. It may cost $30 to $40 more expensive than the 989 and Ice but it's the newest charger with a lot of useful features.
If you are tight in budget DuraTrax Ice will be a good choice.

What advantages does the TC1030 have over the ICE in terms of charging LiPo?
