ok Thunder RC keeps on improving...
after finishing the offroad track which runs Saturday a few months ago we have updated the onroad with new Carpet and a super level subfloor and click track. so 12th scale doesn't get air anymore and no more flappers or roundie rounds. I'll try to post up pictures later this week.
also what this means is Friday night OVAL is back at Thunder RC...
looks like TOUR 17.5 car and truck and Legends 6.0 breakout for now. had our first race and had a great turnout and had more people watching then running so it should blow up here in the next couple weeks. watch for special Saturday Oval racing also....
onroad is still racing on Sundays and with the new floor should pickup also.

don't forget we added a few races for this weekend to the schedule and the claendar is up do date through the end of January. still working out the bugs for Feb and March.
New Offroad Layout will be ready this weekend get a taste over on Youtube more to follow once the layout is done.
Don't forget Thunder Jam January 29th. Might be getting some Cleveland and Detroit drivers coming back to Thunder along with all the region fast guys plus maybe a special guest from europe??? Snowbirds Layout and running backwards should prove intersting. check out the layout.
For you oval guys Febuary 24th 25th is the TOUR date at Thunder. popular classes are 17.5 truck spec and 17.5 car open but should have 13.5 COT and 10.5 car open if we get enough entries for it. Don’t forget the TOUR oval race at thunder this weekend open Saturday at 7:30 am racing at 1pm

First thanks to everybody that made it out. The local support was great as was the out of town support for the TOUR series race. Big thanks to Alan from Greenville Speedway for the TOUR series and rules package and for keeping things straight in tech. That made my life so much easier. Thanks to Brad Norris for helping out in tech. Thanks to Eric Anderson and Bryan Klamer for working on getting this race here at Thunder RC. Thanks to the Sponsors Hyperdrive, Mudslide, Epic, Tekin Delicious Vinyl and 7even bodies. I want to put the suggestion box out there. [email protected] 615-499-6151 I am listening and yes working on thinner ice and a cleaning agent that doesn’t leave residue and next time the track will be FULL width. No more seam in the groove of the back straight. Anything else you guys got I will try to accommodate. I hope other than those major things that everybody had fun and had good racing. I WILL make the next one even better.
