Default 12/2/2006 Carpet Race

Racing starts at 6PM. Not sure what time the track will open for practice. I'm sure someone will post it here.

Who plans to race on Saturday? What classes will everyone be running?

-See you there!

Assuming, my Novak shipment is delivered in time, I'll run TC (stock) and Mini. (I'm out for F1 unless someone has an extra front bottom diff housing.) If the shipment doesn't come in, I haven't decided if I'm going to make the drive just for Mini.

Mike - What's coming from Novak?

I know the PVC pipe can be moved around on the carpet freely. Has anyone tried putting the straightaway against the outside wall(one with windows).
It would make driving the straightaway a lot easier. Wouldn't have the cars whipping by at full speed 2 feet in front of you! WHIPLASH!!! Also wouldn't have that concrete wall at the end of the straightaway.

I think we could just flip the PVC layout and it would work just fine. What do you think?

Replacement capacitor and it just came in.

As for the layout orientation, the only down side would be that the turn marshalls are now right in front of you, seriously impeding your view of the track when they go out to marshall a car. Obviously, they could move somewhere else, but the turns that would now be against the "driver's stand" are where most of the marshalling is needed.

But I'm willing to give it a try. 8)

is there a drivers stand or are we at the same height as the track?
why can't you kiss a hooker on the lips?

Good point Mike. I'd much rather have the turn marshals in the turns rather than stepping into the straightaway everytime there is a wreck.

Go get that T2 ready!
