New track in Calhoun Ga
#91
There is no grape soda on the track. We use a suger water mix, that we found works alot better than grape soda. The track didn't even have anything on it last weekend and traction was high. Nice track, open and very fast. Come on out,you will have a good time.

Looks like the AllStar tour will be at Calhoun on July 2nd. Lots of weird scheduling going on because of other events. Get those F1' and touring cars polished up. After that it will go to the sugar bowl for round three. If you were not at the first one get ready to see what is already a battle between the Hyperdrive and MLP cars for the points lead. It's going to be an interesing summer.

Hey gang !
I am glad I stumbled upon this forum and topic. I have been looking for somewhere close to race since I moved to the Ringgold area from south Florida last year.
I took a ride down to Calhoun. Neat set up. The track will be tight for me until I get all the rust broken loose from my driving fingers.
Will be there on the 25th with F201 and electric touring.
What are you all going to run motor wise?
Trying to get the dust out of my cells right now. Hope some come back to life.
Woohooo..... a cure for my racing bug!

By all means run the 19T on the 201. When we get there on the 2nd we have touring for points but it is for stock only for now. I will keep the mod results also in case we want to add that later for the tour. We also run 1/12th 4-cell stock. As a bonus MLP has given me the go ahead to let local F1 drivers try out the F201 PRO II after the race. That means anyone would like to can take 3 or 4 laps each to test it. If there is not that many ( which has never happened) you can take more laps with it. One thing, please do not crash it. This is one of the cars in the series and I hate working on cars. See you guys then!

I'm up for Mod or 19T in the Touring Car class.
Chad - Would you want to come up on Friday the 23rd? You could run some practice races with the AMB system and get it ready for Sundays races. Has anyone built a bridge for the timing loop?
